Punter's Forum
Obviously contributors have suffered a mental block, been Hollywood Georged off the site or everything is perfect in racing. I don't think the latter is right judging by the size of the fields in Sydney racing, there's talk of a trainer's boycott of Randwick, if there is it stinks of hypocrisy on the trainer's part as some of them have never boycotted the Melbourne tracks even when the track bias gave horses further back than fourth no hope and that's in million dollar and Group 1 races, also aren't the obligations of the trainer to the owners first, maybe they have to train they're horses to be a bit more adaptable. On Sunday racing the race clubs either have to be fully behind it or scrub it altogether, the punter will bet on the Victorian meetings or spend their money at the opposition (the Casino or the pubs & clubs it doesn't matter to them). A better suggestion would be to have Hawkesbury,Kembla and Canberra alternate with Gosford, Wyong and Newcastle and leave the Sydney punters the two betting auditoriums. Speaking of betting auditoriums, why haven't the AJC opened one at Warwick Farm, obviously no-one associated with the AJC has walked into Cabramatta TAB ( pretty close to Warwick Farm) on a Saturday, it's non-stop betting action from Race 1 to the last ( the turnover has to be close to the highest in Sydney). Why doesn't the AJC want a piece of this action?
